Learning guides give a minimum of 10-20 hours a week shepherding and supporting end users on the Fawakih journey.
Learning guides go through extensive training, which includes:
Understanding and aligning with the Fawakih mission, culture, values, and core beliefs.
Receive and study Fawakih’s Guidebook on the above.
Personal ethics and moral values.
Week-long (initially in-person?) training retreat
Technology and platform training
Instructors choose to add a certain number of hours of tutoring within the technology platform
They should be able to easily schedule these sessions on their own without admin support
Training on engaging the community portal, student messages and comments within the platform that require academic support.

Offers podcasts, online seminars, keynote addresses, reflections, video blogs, articles, etc to platform users to enrich and expand upon the core curriculum.
COMMUNITY MANAGER (ADMIN) Someone like Jenny Sutton-Amr
Technology and platform training
Supports students and instructors within the technology platform
Onboards new students and instructors
Support scheduling live sessions, student events,
Training on engaging the community portal, student messages and comments within the platform
PEER MENTOR Someone like Maryam Moid
TECH SUPPORT (IT) Someone like Heba, Toufeeq or Araf
Builds apps and related tech to expand product infrastructure
Creates innnovative tech solutions to ensure Fawakih stays abreast of cutting-edge technology that serve student needs
Helps the team overcome any technological barriers to improve usage and adoption.
Fixes any bugs in technology are resolved.
Ensures technology updates and upgrades, and speed of use
Backs up key assets and ensures continuity of platform
FINANCE TEAM
Handes student payment matters, including refunds.
Seems like LW does not provide refunds direclty. Would be needed to be completed via Stripe for now.
Tracks budget and accounting.
