Quranic Arabic Instructor
Nihal Khan is the founder of Maktab Academy and an Islamic Studies instructor. He teaches Arabic at Fawakih Institute and hosts the “Faith in Fine Print” podcast. Along with a MA in Islamic Studies from the Hartford Seminary, an ‘ālimiyya degree in Islamic Law and Theology from Nadwatul ‘Ulamā in Lucknow, India, and a BA in Psychology from Montclair State University, Nihal also studied at the Harvard Divinity School.
Most recently, Nihal was the Director of Religious Affairs at the Islamic Center of Connecticut and a chaplain at St. Francis Hospital. He currently lives with his wife in Istanbul, Türkiye with his wife.
