Ustadh Syed M. Omair is a Senior Instructor in Arabic who has taught hundreds of students from many countries across the globe. He founded an institution to teach Arabic online and has years of experience engaging and teaching students virtually. Previously, he served as a distinguished faculty, curriculum developer, and textbook writer in the department of Classical Arabic at Qasid, a premiere Arabic language institute in Jordan. Given his expertise in the Arabic language, he has served as an editor, preparing several Arabic/English publications. 

Ustadh Umair has received permission to teach in the sciences of Tajwid (Qur'anic recitation), Shafi'i Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Aqidah (Theology), Mantiq (Logic), Usul Al-Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Law), Tafsir (Qur'anic exegesis), Hadith and Shama'il (Prophetic narrations and description), and Tazkiyah (Spirituality), having sat with renowned experts from around the world. He is especially fond of teaching the Shama'il and connecting students to the Prophet and his blessed family, peace and blessings be upon them. Students love the creativity, passion, and lucidity to his instruction of the Arabic language.

Ustadh Syed holds a degree in Religious Studies from Stony Brook University where he studied under William Chittick. He resides in Northern Virginia, near the Fawakih headquarters, with his wife and son.
